TORONTO - The husband of a woman found dead in her home northwest of Peterborough, Ont., has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with her death.
The body of 59-year-old Wendy Taylor was found Sept. 27 in the home near Omemee, and police determined she was the victim of a homicide.
But police say the cause and circumstances of her death are not being released in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Iain Taylor, 57, was arrested in Peterborough on Sunday.
Provincial police say anyone who observed any unusual activity in the area around the time of Taylor's death should contact investigators. (CJOJ, CKPT)
