Acting on our Platform Commitments
During the fall session of the House of Assembly, our Liberal Government acted on the priorities set out in our platform, including.
  • Breaking the power monopoly by bringing competition to the electricity market
  • Creating a new February holiday for all Nova Scotians
  • Restoring balance to first-contract arbitration
  • Banning the importation of hydraulic fracturing wastewater
Additionally, our government will provide an unprecedented level of transparency for economic development assistance, has improved government communications and ensured all advertising is non-partisan, and invested in healthcare with scanning and monitoring equipment for patients in Halifax, Cape Breton and the Annapolis Valley.
