Putting Nova Scotians First.

 

That was the title our government’s first Speech from the Throne. It was the message delivered by our incredible team of Liberal candidates and volunteers during the campaign – and embraced by voters throughout the province.  

 

I would like to thank Suzanne Lohnes-Croft, the MLA for Lunenburg, and Brendan Maguire, the MLA for Halifax Atlantic, for moving and seconding the Throne Speech. It was a joy to watch our new Members take the floor of the legislature and to see members of the cabinet confidently embrace their portfolios. 

 

With a focus on keeping our commitments to voters, I am proud of what we have accomplished during our first legislative session. Moreover, I am optimistic about what we can accomplish together for all Nova Scotians. This is just the beginning.
