Preferred Prime Minister – On the preferred Prime Minister front, one of two Canadians or 53.6 per cent said they preferred Trudeau followed by Ambrose at 15.1 per cent, Mulcair at 8.3 per cent May at 5.0 per cent (16.4 per cent were unsure). Trudeau is currently near a 12 month on this tracking.
Qualities of a Good Political Leader – Asked a series of independent questions related to each federal party leader 69.6 per cent of Canadians said they thought Trudeau had the qualities of a good political leader while 50.0 per cent thought similarly of Mulcair. Four of ten (40.9%) thought May had the qualities of a good political leader and 35.8 per cent thought Ambrose had the qualities of a good political leader.
