Preferred Prime Minister – More than one in two Canadians (53.4%) prefer Trudeau as Prime Minister followed by Ambrose at 15.9 per cent, Mulcair at 8.8 per cent, and May at 5.2 per cent. Fifteen per cent of Canadians were undecided as to their preference for PM.
Qualities of a Good Political Leader – Asked a series of independent questions for each of the federal party leaders, seven of ten Canadians (70.9%) thought Trudeau had the qualities of a good political leader while 51.7 per cent thought similarly of Mulcair. Four in ten Canadians (40.5%) thought May had the qualities of a good political leader and 37.1 per cent of Canadians thought Ambrose had the qualities of a good political leader.
