MP Chak Au tenders resignation from Richmond, B.C., city council
Nearly nine months after being elected federally, Conservative MP Chak Au has submitted his resignation from his other job as a municipal councillor in Richmond, B.C. His resignation will take effect Feb. 1. Mr. Au has served as a city councillor since 2011, and was elected as a member of Parliament for the British Columbia riding of Richmond Centre-Marpole in April.
